Leading UI transition into fully responsive search application. Incorporated Foundation/SASS framework & workflow for quick prototyping and buildout.More
Previously, the mobile platform was a separate entity from the desktop version.
This project planned improvements and a transition to one code base, serving one fully responsive application for all devices.
Initial push into responsive was started with the Real Estate platform. After ramping up on the framework, settling in to a new workflow, and making some progress on responsive home listings/search, the decision was made to switch focus to Careers.
My contract is now up with this project, and with Adicio. I wish them all the best.
Control center for multi-faceted enterprise application: Jobs, Real Estate, Motors, & General Classified platforms.
Aside from designing & building numerous applicatons within SiteManager, I found some "spare" time to give the whole app a long overdue face-lift & do some front-end code cleanup.More
SiteManager is Adicio's hub for all client settings, templates, ad campaigns, etc. Clients, Management, Implementation, and Development all work within this portal in order to manage a vast array of settings and tools for clients.
Probably the coolest application I worked on within SiteManager was for an overseas client that needed to monitor listings in real-time in order to prevent any inappropriate material from ever making it live. It was a challenging project in addition to customizing the entire platform for this client. Massive effort by the entire team.
This tool allows Clients and/or Implementation to quickly and easily create traffic-driving, content-rich, landing pages.More
Landing pages could be created with custom content, content from feeds, job listings, video, and more. These pages could be created and launched directly to a clients site giving them content-rich pages driving traffic to their listings.
The page-building begins with a GUI to add, remove, edit, & position content sections, then the Creator would enter preview mode to view the page, and could publish live from there.
Styles from SiteManager, from our App, and from the Clients site would influence the finished page & it was a challenge to dial in the look between preview and live.
An old co-worker brought me on board with Sightly to do some contract work and help out with the projects they had going.
Adicio Sales Manager CRM was an attempt to give our sales team an application that was specifically tailored to their needs.More
Unfortunately after much time and effort in development, the application fell short to the bigger CRM's and the sales team never fully implemented this.
This was one of my earlier projects and even though it was an ultimate failure, I learned a great deal about information architecture and user flow/interaction throughout this process.
Collaborating and coordinating with teams of instructional designers, developers, 3d artists, animators & editors to design and build a set of interactive multimedia "Fleet" courses for small truck and van drivers.More
I was hired on as the company was venturing into multimedia courses.
Courses and interactions were Actionscript 2 at first, later moving into AS3 by the time I left.
IDS had a company of developers in India and later acquiring another company in Texas. Part of my job was coordinating and directing different animators, developers, etc. in order to produce higher quality graphics, animations, interactions, and overall courses.
The Web Development and Marketing team at IDS also ran dozens of traffic-driving sites and campaigns which I was able to design for when a break from course creation was available.
